Range Proficiency

A total of 50 rounds are fired during range qualification at the B-27 target such as shown below. The student must achieve 175 points (or 70%) out of a possible 250 points. Handguns of at least .32 caliber are required and laser sights are acceptable although not recommended. Qualification with a semi-auto (SA) will allow you to carry either a revolver or semi-auto of any caliber. Qualifying with a revolver (NSA) will only allow you to carry a revolver and you cannot legally carry a semi-auto.

Shooting distances are at 9', 21', and 45'.
